Re: Dismantleing a cast iron boiler You probably won't need cutting tools, beyone cutting the 3/4" bolts that hold the sections together. Your floor will become uncleanable if you're not careful. Need pics. Are you doing the removal for someone to come in and replace it?
I am debating on purchasing the Alpine modcon vs one of their traditional cast iron boilers. Is there any reason I should choose the Alpine?
